Privacy Policy
Aegis Bot is a Discord infrastructure bot by Virtue Systems. It provides server automation, moderation utilities, invite analytics, role workflows, AI-assisted tools, tickets, logging, and Roblox identity verification. This policy explains what Aegis may process, why it is used, and how server owners or users can request removal.
Data Aegis May Process
Depending on which features a server enables, Aegis may process Discord user IDs, guild IDs, channel IDs, message IDs, command inputs, moderation case details, server settings, role IDs, ticket metadata, music queue metadata, voice consent records, AI memory entries, and usage/cooldown records. Roblox presence features may store watched Roblox user IDs, usernames, visible presence state, game or place identifiers returned by Roblox, alert channel IDs, and the Discord user who requested the watch. Invite tracking may store invite codes, inviter and joined-member IDs, source labels, join/leave attribution, fake-account flags, configured bonus adjustments, and leaderboard visibility controls.
Roblox Verification and OAuth Data
When a user verifies with Roblox, Aegis may process the user's Roblox user ID, Roblox username, Roblox display name, Roblox avatar/profile URL, verification method, verification timestamp, linked Discord user ID, linked Discord server ID, role-sync decisions, nickname-sync decisions, trust/risk signals, and audit logs needed to show staff why access was granted or denied. Aegis may also use short-lived OAuth session state, verification tokens, and anti-abuse metadata to prevent replay or duplicate verification attempts.
Roblox sign-in is used only to confirm the Roblox account identity for Discord server access and automation. Aegis does not receive or store Roblox passwords, does not ask users to share passwords, and does not request payment information through the Roblox verification flow.
AI, Images, Voice, and Transcription
AI features may send the user-provided prompt, relevant server context, or uploaded audio/image inputs to configured AI providers so Aegis can generate a response, image, speech, or transcript. Voice listening requires per-user consent where enabled. Server admins control whether live voice features are enabled.
Why Data Is Used
Data is used to operate bot features, enforce permissions, remember server settings, provide moderation audit trails, maintain queues and panels, prevent abuse, apply cooldowns, publish configured role or invite panels and leaderboards, send configured Roblox presence alerts, link Roblox identities to Discord accounts, synchronize verified roles or nicknames, calculate trust/risk signals, and deliver premium/trial access.
Retention
Server configuration and moderation records may be retained while the bot remains in a server. Temporary generated files, voice outputs, and cached media may be deleted automatically. Roblox OAuth states and manual verification codes are temporary and are intended to expire quickly. Verified identity links may be retained until the user unlinks, a server owner removes the configuration, Aegis leaves the server, or a valid removal request is processed.
Sharing
Aegis does not sell user data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers, Discord, hosting providers, and configured AI/audio services only as needed to operate the bot. Roblox identity checks are performed through Roblox-provided services or public Roblox API responses as needed for verification and role synchronization.
User Controls and Removal
Users may ask server staff to reverify, unlink, or remove server-specific access where Aegis commands are available. Server owners may request deletion of stored server data, and users may request deletion of identity-link records by contacting support with the relevant Discord user ID and Roblox username.
